This girl… she’s interested! I couldn’t believe it! I was so happy and excited! Praise God! After searching for so long…. It must have been a divine appointment.

No… I didn’t find myself a special friend. For those that haven’t been updated by me (shame on you… yeah, it’s my fault), I arrived at Australia on the 4th of July. God Bless America. I’ve been doing Bible work here. It hasn’t been exciting all the way, but God is good and He’s teaching me lessons.

I’ve been looking for Bible study interests and people who would like to join our youth CARE group (Christ’s Attitude Reflected in Everyone). Out of the ones who had shown some interest, it seems that many were just being nice and didn’t want to outright reject me—doing surveys at Griffith University. But keep on praying that God will lead me to those who are ready to receive His Word.

To make a long story short, since I don’t have time… On Friday morning I met Grace, a exchange student from China. She actually was interested enough, brave enough to agree to being picked up at her place to join our CARE group that night. She is the first person that God worked out for me to bring her in our small group. So praise God, she’s interested. She also has a roommate that is planning to join us sometime. Her name is Tonie. So please keep them in your prayers… and all the other contacts and people that I meet. Most of all, pray for me, that I’ll have to right attitude and spirit. That I’ll continue to learn to depend upon God.

I’ve been enjoying reading/skimming through many of your updates. I guess summer vacation has finally arrived for you. I’ve been out by the end of March. Can you believe it? But MVC, also began by early June…except I didn’t go back.

God Bless you all and thanks for your prayers. I’ll have to update more later. Pictures? Hmm… I’m using dial up here. 46.6 K. Busy with a schedule, too. So…yeah. Enjoy viewing all of yours though.

Hmmm… update update =)

The last time I tried to update while I was still at MVC the system won’t let me.

Just a quick note, I know I haven’t had the time to search out many of you and subscribe to your Xanga. If you happen to know that my xanga is here, and you just can’t believe that I don’t know you’re out there, please send me a message or leave a comment of whatsoever so I can subscribe to you.

Updates…

First of all, I’ll eventually have to change my main title since Mountain View College is not here, and here for me is no longer Mountain View College…

I left MVC, flew to Hong Kong, stayed there with Naomi for about a day and a half, flew to Taiwan, and I’m still here in Taiwan =) I flew out of the Philippines on the 27th late at night, plane was delayed, arrived at Hong Kong early morning on the 28th (Poor Naomi, bless her heart.). I flew out of Hong Kong on the 29th late at night, arrived Taiwan early morning on the 30th (My mom and some Korean staff at our school picked me up, bless their hearts).

I entered with a 30 day duration stamp in my passport. I’m now waiting for my visa for entering Brisbane Australia to do Bible work there for about one year. Pray that it will work out before the 30 days are up, or else I told Naomi I’d have to swim off the island of Taiwan. She thought that was a silly idea. What do you think?

Update of pictures… let me start with my last days at MVC…

Scenes of MVC

Not too bad for an amateur photographer and a simple digital camera hum? MVC is a beautiful place. Interesting… how cameras can capture and keep some things that the mind can’t, and the mind can take in and keep some things that the camera can’t. I guess it did take some time before I recognized that I’ll be leaving people and memories behind.

Sunrise at Jubilee Park

Jubilee Park, as an alumnus Pastor said in his sermon: “It is where all the promises are made…” I guess it’s true since an open interview with our married staff revealed that many of them met at the Jubilee part during their student time. And of course, couples still come here to make their “promises”. It’s a very beautiful view. Wish I had a better camera. At this specific morning, I discovered a Canidae couple… even they had to rub it in about the fact that this weirdo was there “ALONE” taking pictures…

A cloudy day…Jubilee Park. The hill afar off is Nelson Hill.

Pallasa Hall , located right beside the Jubilee Park.

My Pink Dorm…they repainted it. It took some time to get use to. I guess if a real man doesn’t hesitate to wear a pink shirt, a real man shouldn’t hesitate to live in a pink dorm either hum? What do you say, Louvi? =)

A nice view of the Administration building from the computer lab

Want one for a pet?

Another cloudy day… View from the top of Nelson Hill…

Want to see some pictures of people? Check in my albums. I won’t have the time to add captions to them right at the moment. I plan to… Happy Sabbath!

It’s Valentines’ day here… have you ever felt feverish, nervous, thought you had everything under control but then you’re not sure at all anymore? You’re stressed, worried, agitated, not knowing what to do, and at lost of words to describe? Tomorrow seems so uncertain, yet you know that problems you don’t face today will still be there tomorrow. Your feelings and reasoning don’t match…

Yes, this has been and will be my “Valentines’ day” hehehe… My reasoning is telling me that I should study hard for my two exams tomorrow--- which I’m nervous, agitated, and stressed about, and yet I don’t “feel” like doing it. Tomorrow seems uncertain because of my exams  hehe… I’m feverish not because of any “shyness” for Valentines day, but I think yesterday I ate something bad and at night I got a stomach ache and broke out with a fever. I think I’m better now.

Yeah, I should really study… just thought that if I expressed my Valentines’ day to you in a special way it might be rather entertaining. Tell me what was running through your head as you read through my first paragraph. Heehee…. Mrs. Clark has saying: “That’s how rumors get started.” I wonder how some OHA/C missionaries who came to the Philippines brought back news that I have a Valentine. Heehee… lets see what kind of wave my post will cause. Just kidding!! I hope you all read through the whole thing. Have a happy “exam free” Valentines’ day over there.

It’s been a while. Last time I updated was after New Year. Well, this week we are having week of prayer hosted by Pastor Hal Mayer. “Assisting him are Mr. Ben Ng and Ms. Sheri Trueblood, graduates of Hartland Institute. “Even at the Door” is the theme and “Faith is the Victory”  the theme song.” (http://www.mvc.edu.ph/main/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=111&Itemid=51)

Next week I have Semi-Final Exams. The week after that is Central Student Council week. Another update is… I can’t go back to OHC.

Got to go for now. Please keep our week of prayer and my future plans in your prayers. Thank you! Miss you all.
